This course looks primarily at the Hardware Management Console (HMC) and provides an overview of the functionality and features of this product. It also discusses common HMC tasks and the authorization required to perform them.
Audience
This course is aimed at Operators, System Programmers, or System Administrators that use the HMC to monitor, control, and configure mainframe enterprise system hardware.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the ‘Introduction to the IBM Z Systems’ course, or similar knowledge.
