IBM Mainframe Applications Programmer Level II Certificate

This certificate validates that the learner has attained a solid knowledge of JCL and is able to create and reference VSAM, z/OS UNIX, and other data using JCL. They can interpret and resolve common JCL errors and can run utility programs such as IEBGENER and IDCAMS. This person can create a COBOL program and explain how it is run and managed on z/OS, and can also create simple CLIST and REXX programs. They will also have a working knowledge of z/OS UNIX, IBM MQ, CICS, Db2, WAS, and Networking.
