Mainframe Systems Operator – Level II

This IBM Professional Certificate earner can initialize and shutdown a z/OS system, and enter system commands to identify the status and attributes of z/OS components. In particular, they can locate, display, edit, and schedule the running of batch jobs using JES2, ISPF, and SDSF products. JCL knowledge is expanded from basic statement use to include coding of procedures and symbolic variables, referencing generation and VSAM data sets, and z/OS UNIX files, and performing conditional processing.
