Description
Two simulations are provided that the student can use to assess their skills and knowledge in relation to the manual shutdown and startup of a z/OS system.
Audience
Junior and senior operators responsible for managing a z/OS system.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the z/OS – Initializing and Terminating the z/OS System course, or equivalent knowledge.
Objectives
After completing these simulations, the student should be able to enter commands that are used to manually shutdown, and startup a z/OS system.
