Interskill Learning is pleased to announce the release of two new IBM Professional Certificates and three new Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) upgrade pathways aligned with IBM z/OS 3.1. These updates ensure that learners and organizations can continue building modern mainframe skills while keeping their credentials aligned with the latest IBM platform technologies.
New IBM Professional Certificates (z/OS 3.1)
The following IBM Professional Certificates have been upgraded to reflect the latest z/OS 3.1 curriculum, including updated learning videos and assessments:
- IBM Mainframe Systems Programmer Level I Certificate 3.1
- IBM Mainframe Applications Programmer Level II Certificate 3.1
These certificates provide learners with structured, role-based training and validation of core skills required to support and develop on the modern IBM Z platform.
New Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) Upgrade Paths
To support existing certificate holders, Interskill has also introduced three new RPL upgrade pathways that allow professionals to efficiently upgrade their credentials to the z/OS 3.1 level without repeating previously completed learning.
New RPL upgrade options include:
- IBM Mainframe Applications Programmer Level II Certificate → Upgrade to 3.1
- IBM Mainframe Systems Programmer Level I Certificate RPL 2.4 → Upgrade to 3.1
- IBM Mainframe Systems Programmer Level I Certificate RPL 2.5 → Upgrade to 3.1
These streamlined upgrade paths recognize previously earned certifications and provide targeted learning to bridge the gap to the latest platform release.
