The Utilities curriculum concentrates on the majority of IBM z/OS utilities that are used on a day-to-day basis by data center personnel. The “General Data Set Utilities” course contains details on utilities used to create, delete and perform copies of data sets, while the “Data Utilities” course consists of utilities that address the actual data within the data set. This includes the reformatting, updating, comparing, listing, sorting and merging of data. Finally, the “Tips and Tricks” course contains more advanced features of utilities referenced in the courses above.

This course contains many Utility-related tips, tricks, techniques and best-practice items that you may find useful in your day-to-day activities. It covers several new areas of functionality associated with latest z/OS releases.
