Assessments can be taken before and/or after taking our courses. As like our courses, there are no schedules and you may take assessments multiple times within your contract period. Courses and assessments are accessed by students online 24/7 via our Learning Management System (LMS).

JCL Concepts Assessment 2.4

JES2 – Concepts and Operation Assessment 2.4

This assessment is designed for data center staff responsible for the operation and monitoring of JES2 controlled devices, or other IT specialists that are required to have a solid understanding of the JES2 product.

JES2 – Problem Resolution Assessment 2.4

Duration: 1hrs

This assessment is designed for data center staff responsible for resolving JES2 problems or problems associated with JES2 controlled devices, or other IT specialists that need to perform JES2 problem resolution.

Mainframe Network Communications Assessment 2.4

This assessment is designed for data center staff responsible for the operation and monitoring of the z/OS SNA and TCP/IP networks, or IT specialists that are required to have an understanding of the same.

SDSF (z/OS) – Concepts and Operation Assessment 2.4

Duration: 1hrs

This assessment measures your general knowledge SDSF and contains questions that focus on accessing, starting, and stopping SDSF, as well as SDSF screen configuration. Questions relating to the use of the system log are also presented. It contains 45 questions that will take approximately one hour to complete, with the pass mark set at 70%.

This assessment tests your skills and knowledge in monitoring and controlling job activity using SDSF. It contains 45 questions that will take approximately one hour to complete, with the pass mark set at 70%.

TSO/ISPF Concepts Assessment 2.4

This assessment measures your knowledge of basic TSO and ISPF functionality and tests skills associated with configuring and navigating ISPF.

TSO/ISPF Operation Assessment 2.4

Duration: 2hrs

This assessment measures your general ability to use ISPF to create and modify data sets.

z/OS Concepts Assessment 2.4

Duration: 1hrs

This assessment measures your general knowledge of z/OS terminology, system hardware and software components, and data processing concepts.

z/OS System Operations Assessment 2.4

Duration: 1hrs

This assessment measures your skills and knowledge associated with entering appropriate MVS commands used to display system component status, and the interpretation of the resulting data.

z/OS Problem Diagnosis and Resolution Assessment 2.4

Duration: 2hrs

This assessment measures your skills and knowledge associated with being able to identify and apply an action to be taken when a system related problem occurs.
